Ice and Water...
After the Swans very friendly sign, I sad to Eduard, I know a nice waterfall not far from here, lets go there...normally it should take us 10 minutes, but thanks to me, we made 30, so I'm sorry Eduard again :)Some images from the river and the waterfall...
... Eduard composing ,...., you can find some of his creations on his blog or HERE!
Swan on lake Gilau ...
A good friend of mine Eduard called and asked me to go for a swan "hunting" with him. Obviously a sad ... yes, allright! I like these birds anyway.
I made the first two images on purpose with black, there is no cutting, only a bit of positive contrast and positive shadows...and a bit of blur on the black area.I really like this kind of images....(ISO400, f/8, 1/1000 sec, 300 mm + polarizer)
...and I think they got tired of us ... "OK guys,...,take a picture of this!" I did :)

Magellanic Penguin - Budapest Zoo
Penguins are a group of aquatic, flightless birds living almost exclusively in the southern hemisphere, especially in Antarctica. Highly adapted for life in the water, penguins have countershaded dark and white plumage, and their wings have become flippers. They spend about half of their life on land and half in the oceans.
The Magellanic Penguin, (Spheniscus magellanicus), is a South American penguin, breeding in coastal Argentina, Chile and the Falkland Islands, with some migrating to Brazil.
Magellanic Penguins are medium-sized penguins which grow to be 61-76 cm tall and weigh between 2.7 kg and 6.5 kg.
