Racoș photo tour - part I.

As mentioned in the previous post, we traveled for a photo tour near  Racoș. We arrived late for the sunset, so we went to find something to eat and we were back in business. 30 second expo with my friend Boti illuminating the foreground. My favorite shot from that night.
Next day we where in a hurry, because we where late for the sunrise and the way to Tepej peak was not the easiest. Tepej peak was our first interest point .... shooting the sunrise, so....20 minute after the reddish lights first painted the bottom of the clouds I made my first shot. It was a hard climb...
.... and the other side of the peak....
....also I made a nearly impossible shot with my 24-105 mm lens @105, the Fogaraș mountains from a distance of 70 km ....but after a bit of post-processing the result is acceptable...
.... next stop the quarrys near Racoș ....and it started raining....

....then Eduárd had a brilliant idea, to visit the wonderful Dakt valley  .... after the rain we where astonished by the popping colors .... no need for pot processing saturation here....

We spent an hour or so in the valley, the weather got better and better so we went back to our main objective....the mines....first the basalt columns ....

Boti found a nice spot so we all got up there to take the shot from the "eagle's nest" .... in the background the biggest peak is the Tepej peak from where we shot the sunrise earlier ....
.... to be continued!
