A pieceofhistory, the Nyerges-tető If you are a hungarian, transilvanian, austrian, russian or even romanian I'm pretty sure you heard about the 1848-49 freedom-fights, about the revolution. At an altitude of 875 m, in the mountains of Ciuc is a place we call Nyerges-tető, a holly place were one of the last battle of the 1848-49 revolution was fought. This is the place where major Tuzson János and his handful of soldiers fought bravely against the mighty Austro-Russian army. The battle was won by the Austrians by treachery. The fallen heroes body was berried in a common grave in this holly place, where now, you can find this sea of crosses.
Some shots from the past month... A bit of landscape ... somewhere near Csikszereda (M-Ciuc) A flower from the garden :) Lola of course ... And a spider (unfortunately it's not the Audi R8 spider or the Lamborghini Gallardo spider ) eating a fly ...

Before the storm raves...
I love the cloud formations before the storm, they are very heavy and aggressive, there is a nice contrast between densities...no HDR was used only gradual filter...
... same place, but with a bit of PS
After the storm, a nice rainbow...

11000 meter above the Earth...
In February we where flying to Germany and back, I had the occasion to make some decent shots "above the Earth" I was lucky not to sit above the wing (many time happens) and I had my camera on board the window was clean (rare happens). For somebody who is flying very often, this post may be boring, but for me was a real adventure.I love flying and love to look at these amazing cloud formations. But especially love to look up, to that deep dark blue sky.
