Saturday morning, I woke up earlier, and I sad ... hmmm, the weather seams to be nice, ... we need to go somewhere!!! ... so I called some friends (Razvan & Andrea) and we where off ...
But as we approached Turda -Disaster-Heavy clouds and fog ... I was a bit afraid that the weather in the mountains may be worst, but no problem, we will see...
So, as we approached the Arieseni valley, the weather started to give us some hope, and after a few kilometers, the sun was out...and I had a big smile on my face!
... and we stopped again at this waterfall, I like it very much, and if you are following this blog for some time you should recognise it.
... and I made some photos with my soligor lens too...
... the colours in the valley, at this part of the year, are fantastic, form red-orange-yellow-brown to green, in strange combinations ...
As we got down from the main road, and entered deeper in the mountains, we arrived to a small villige where I spotted this nice donkey...

Ascending ...
I parked the Golf near the monastery, and we headed to the cave first, to Huda lu' Papara's cave, it has a big entrance, but we couldn't visited by lack of equipment ...
The entrance of the cave, photo from the "bridge" ... this cave is a speleological reservation that shelters karst formations inside the longest cave in the Trascau Mountains.The cave is situated at the NW side of Trascau Mountains at an altitude around 600m.The protected area is about 4.6 ha and consists of the limestone wall in which the portal of the cave opens, as well as the galleries that reach 2022 m in length. As a speleologist, I visited this cave two times (2002 and 2005), it is very wet, and full with blocks and rocks, waterfalls, bats...it's not easy to reach the final waterfall, but this is a very beautiful cave...I loved it.

After a while, we started to assent again, this time on foot, on a narrow 2,5 km "road", it is quite hard if you are not in shape, not mentioning that in 2002 I was climbing with ~25-30 kg of equipment without a problem, today I was dying slowly...
But I survived, and the view was astonishing, I saw this many time, but every time im an impressed by this view...in the image bellow, you can see, that he sun is only lightening the monastery in the valley...it was nice...
...just look at it...You have a fantastic wiew from up there, it's worth the effort. ASTONISHING This is a HDR* image to see better between the dark and light regions.
Up there you can find some interesting "architecture" I love these cottages ...
Descending to the waterfall...
In the bottom of that breach is the biggest waterfall of this region, some 30 m...
...and here it is, the waterfall I was after, it's a real beauty, but this is more beautiful in march or april, when the snow is melting and rain is present frequently, now it's a narrow water flow...but it is beautiful...you can see some 70% of the waterfall from this view.(vertical panorama image from 2 photos)
After more descending there is a small canyon, with tiny waterfalls, between 1 and 2 meters tall,
This was our turning point, we headed back, when I saw these lines on the wall, the lines are paralell with the trees, this is a great view, I liked it very much...
As we stopped for a rest I saw this dry plant, I went for som close-up shots, when I discovered something attached to it, something liveing, but maybe hibernateing...
I made a crop, to see better but this was takem without a macro lens, so it is not the best quality.
On the way up, the sun was going down, and its warm light filled the landscape, resulting some very nice colors.
The cave again...
This was a very nice trip, we closed the day with a fine meet, and we headed home...______________________________________________________________

Jó kis túra lehtett. Egyszer voltam arra én is és azok a házak nagyon fotógénikusnak tüntek nekem is. Tetszenek a képek velük és a tájképek is jól sikerültek.
Megpróbáltam azt a fura "vadat" azonosítani, de nem sikerült. Fura egy lény az bitos.
Igen, voltam mar parszor arra de mindig lenyugoz, en is imadom ezeket a hazakat, van egy kulonleges hangulatuk, ff ben talan jobban is mutatnanak...
Megeri ellatogatni oda, foleg marcius-aprilisben mikor a narciszok viragoznak!
